We Came for a Visit! Stayed for a Lifetime!
My husband and I purchased our home here in the High Country in 1994 after visiting on vacation! We made our move the next year from southeast Florida and settled into our new community and home.
I became involved in real estate in1996 when I went to work as an office manager for a small real estate firm in Boone. After a few months, I began working towards getting my license. I eventually went full time and I’ve never looked back. I moved to a larger firm in 2001 then on to Keller Williams High Country in 2011.
I have served on the Board of Directors for the High Country Association of Realtors in several capacities ~ currently as President ~ and in 2005, I was proud to receive the honor of ‘Realtor of the Year’.
I am the full time Music Director for the Foscoe Christian Church and I serve on the Board of Directors for the Foscoe Grandfather Community Center, where I also coordinate facility rentals and events.
Spare Time ??? I LOVE to garden. It’s a great stress reliever and you see beautiful results. Roger and I manage to make trips to Tampa to see our grandsons – Jackson & Joshua - and their parents, too! Family, friends, & a solid real estate business keep our life busy – but I can retire later!!! It is truly a wonderful life here in the High Country and we hope to be a part of it for many years to come.
